Importance of Education of Girl Child in Society!

If we want to contribute to the development of our country, we should work on the education of the girl child. For the country's brighter and better future, the education of the girl child plays an important role.

If girls are educated, they will not depend on others for livelihood. Educated girls start working in any field through which they contribute to the country's economy. Girls are the future of our country. They have the right to an education similar to the boys.

The education of women means the education of the entire family. Education plays a major role in the economic growth and social growth of a country. Nowadays, men and women are equally responsible for the overall progress of a country. So girls' education is vital as they are the real builders of happy homes.

Importance of Educating a Female in a Society

For the intellectual, social and mental development of women, education is very important, which helps them in fulfilling the essentials of life.

Literacy rate in India

The male literacy rate is 82.14%, and the female literacy rate is 65.46 %, according to the 2011 census.

The literacy rate is highest in Kerala and Mizoram, and the lowest female literacy rate is in Rajasthan.

For the education of a girl child, some important schemes and policies initiated by the Government of India are given below:
