Disadvantages of working from home

There will be some disadvantages if we standardise working from home. 

• Home is not an office: working in an office provides discipline and routine. An employee can interact with their colleagues while working in the office. Some mentors guide newcomers and teach them the right way to work. 

• Employers cannot monitor employees' work. As a result, mistakes in work increase. 

• An employee can get distracted by household chores while working from home. Some of them may have to manage children or guests in their house. 

• Only technical and corporate-based jobs can be done at home. Many jobs will require the employee to go to the office.
