In the meantime, the children play in their miniature world of prejudice and superstition. They come to learn about a local legend who lives as their neighbor. His name is Arthur Radley. He is a shut-in. Intrigued by his nature, Scout and Jem try numerous times to get him out of his house but fail each time.
