    The Honest Choice 

    One day, I found a wallet lying on the road while returning from school. I picked it up and saw that it contained money and some important documents. For a moment, I felt tempted to keep it. However, I decided to do the right thing. I checked the ID card inside and found the owner’s address. I went to his house and returned the wallet. The man was extremely grateful and thanked me for my honesty. 
    That day, I realized that honesty always brings happiness and respect.

    (2) Lencho was a poor farmer whose crops were completely destroyed by a severe hailstorm. This was his only source of income, and without it, his family faced starvation. Being a man of deep faith, Lencho believed that God would help him in his time of need. 
    He wrote a letter to God asking for 100 pesos so that he could sow his fields again and support his family. His faith was so strong that he was certain God would respond. This shows his innocence and unwavering belief in divine help. 

    (3) Valli, an eight-year-old girl, had a strong desire to ride on a bus. She was fascinated by the bus that passed through her village and dreamed of traveling in it. 
    To fulfill her dream, she carefully gathered information about the bus journey, including the fare and the timings. She saved money by resisting temptations like buying toys or snacks. One day, she boarded the bus alone and enjoyed the journey, observing everything with excitement. 
    Her determination, planning, and courage helped her achieve her dream. 

    (1) The young seagull was initially very fearful and lacked confidence. Unlike his siblings, he was afraid to fly and doubted his ability to do so. Even when his family encouraged him, he refused to move, fearing that he would fall into the sea. 
    However, his parents decided to teach him a lesson. They stopped feeding him and left him alone on the ledge. Driven by hunger, he finally attempted to fly in order to reach the food his mother was holding. 
    At first, he fell downwards, but soon his wings spread automatically, and he began to fly. This experience filled him with joy and confidence. 
    The story highlights that fear can be overcome with courage and necessity. It also shows that self-belief is essential for success. 

    (2) In “The Thief’s Story,” the thief was a young boy who made a living by stealing. He met Anil, a kind and trusting man, and decided to work for him with the intention of robbing him later. 
    One night, the thief stole money from Anil and ran away. However, as he walked in the rain, he began to feel guilty. He realized that Anil had trusted him and even promised to teach him how to read and write, which could help him lead a better life. 
    Overcome with remorse, he returned to Anil’s room and placed the money back. The next morning, Anil behaved as if nothing had happened, showing his understanding and kindness. 
    This incident transformed the thief. He decided to change his ways and live an honest life. The story highlights the power of trust, kindness, and the possibility of personal change.
