I had never imagined becoming a teacher. But when I started teaching, I grew quite fond of it. I remember my first assignment. In June 2014; I was given my first assignment. He was a student of 10th grade in an international curriculum board school. I was really nervous about it. Moreover, I was supposed to teach him all subjects. I had never professionaly taught anyone before. But after I met him, all my fears vanished. I was very comfortable with him. Soon I gained confidence and experience to teach other students as well. Since my first student was in an international board school, my popularity among other students was quite obvious. I was known for my friendly nature and teaching practices that involved practical examples and real life applications. Although my career in teaching began in 2014, the seeds were sown way back during my school days. It all started when I grew over confident of my intelligence and didn't pay attention to teachers in class. Enraged with anger, they would often challenge me to teach their subjects in the class. I did well but was thrown out of the class anyway. Now I realise that it is because of them that I'm a better learner and a good teacher. P.S. I like to keep English language as simple as possible by avoiding use of too much vocabulary. I do this so that I'm better understood by more pupil.
