The Tree Plantation Drive was organised in our school on Monday to promote environmental awareness. Students from all classes assembled in the playground where the Principal addressed everyone and explained the importance of planting trees. Saplings of neem, mango, and gulmohar were distributed. Teachers guided students on how to plant and water them properly. The Eco-Club volunteers labelled each sapling and promised to look after them. By the end of the drive, more than 200 trees had been planted across the campus. The event helped students understand their responsibility towards nature and created a sense of pride in contributing to a greener school environment.

Exercise 5 – Sample Answer (120–150 words)
A Cleanliness Drive was conducted in our school last Friday as part of the Swachh Bharat initiative. Students gathered in the assembly hall where the teachers spoke about hygiene and the importance of keeping surroundings clean. Groups were formed to clean classrooms, corridors, and the school garden. Students collected litter, dusted furniture, and arranged books neatly. Posters and slogans promoting cleanliness were displayed across the campus. The drive encouraged teamwork, discipline, and responsibility. By the end of the event, the school looked tidy and fresh. The activity inspired everyone to maintain cleanliness in daily life.
