✅ Answer Key (For Parents & Educators)

    Exercise 1 – The 30-Minute Disappearance Mystery
    (Sample answer – 12 sentences)

For exactly thirty minutes, my best friend vanished from the school playground without a trace. At first, I thought it was a prank, but fear slowly crept in when no one could find him. The benches were empty, the bell rang, yet he was nowhere to be seen. My heart raced as strange footprints appeared near the old storage room. With the help of our teacher and a watchman, we followed the marks carefully. Inside the room, we discovered a hidden trapdoor that led to a forgotten underground tunnel. Suddenly, my friend appeared, confused but unharmed. He explained that he had fallen through the trapdoor while chasing a ball. The tunnel closed automatically after thirty minutes. The incident taught me how quickly panic can replace trust. I realized the importance of staying calm in frightening situations. That day, I learned courage is often tested in silence.

    Exercise 2 – Write a Powerful Beginning
    (Sample answer – 6 sentences)

As the old library clock struck midnight, the dusty books began to whisper, filling the air with secrets long forgotten. Shadows danced across towering shelves as moonlight slipped through broken windows. I stood frozen, clutching my torch, unsure whether I was imagining the voices. My name echoed softly, calling me deeper into the library. Every step felt heavier than the last. I knew this night would change me forever.

Exercise 3 – Character Swap Challenge
    (Sample answer – 8 sentences)

The shy robot suddenly found itself standing on a grand stage, blinking nervously at a cheering crowd. Meanwhile, the noisy parrot sat quietly in a workshop, surrounded by tools and silence. The robot tried to give a speech but whispered instead, surprising everyone with honesty. The parrot, unable to shout, learned to listen for the first time. Slowly, the robot gained confidence as the audience leaned in. The parrot discovered that silence could be powerful. Both realized that comfort zones are sometimes cages. In switching roles, they found new strengths within themselves.

    Exercise 4 – Out-of-the-Box Ending
    (Sample answer – 6 sentences)

The glowing map led the boy not to treasure, but to an empty classroom. Suddenly, the map faded, revealing words carved into the desk: “Knowledge is the real reward.” He realized the map had appeared only because he was curious enough to search. The classroom lights turned on, and everything returned to normal. The twist taught him that discovery begins with curiosity. He whispered, “I guess the real adventure was learning.”

Exercise 5 – Comic Strip to Story Conversion
(Sample answer – full descriptive paragraph)

As Anaya bent down to pick up her fallen lunchbox, a glowing marble rolled across the school corridor. It shimmered with strange light, drawing her attention away from the noise around her. Suddenly, tiny wings sprouted from the marble, and it lifted into the air. Students froze as it floated silently past lockers and doors. The marble stopped before a locked door covered in sparkling symbols. Anaya felt both fear and excitement as she reached toward the handle, knowing something magical awaited beyond.
