✅ Answer Key (For Parents & Educators)

    Exercise 1 – Time-Travel Twist Story
    (Sample answer – 12 sentences)

The moment I opened my history textbook, a blinding flash of light filled the room. When my vision cleared, I found myself standing on a dusty road surrounded by horse carts and old brick buildings. I realized with shock that I had traveled a hundred years into the past. The air smelled of coal and smoke, and people stared at my strange clothes. I watched workers testing an early electric streetlamp, amazed by the invention. My biggest challenge was fitting in, as I didn’t know how to speak or act like them. A kind old watchmaker noticed my fear and offered help. He hid me in his shop and explained the time period. Using a strange clock device, he helped me return home. Back in my room, everything felt quieter. I learned to respect history and the courage of people who lived without modern comforts. The experience changed how I viewed the past forever.

Exercise 2 – Character Depth Expansion
    (Sample answer)

    Name: Rayan
Core Motivation: Rayan is driven by a strong desire to prove himself after being underestimated by others.
Internal Conflict: He secretly fears failure and believes he may never live up to expectations.
External Conflict: He must survive alone after getting lost during a school expedition.
Hidden Strength: He discovers strong leadership skills when others depend on him.
Symbolic Object: A cracked compass that represents his broken confidence, which slowly guides him correctly.

Exercise 3 – Setting Expansion with Atmosphere Shift
(Sample answer – A quiet train station)

    Before the change:
The train station was calm and brightly lit, with soft announcements echoing across the platform. Travelers waited patiently, sipping tea and reading newspapers. The place felt safe and ordinary.

    After the change:
Suddenly, the lights flickered and the station fell silent. Thick fog rolled across the tracks, hiding everything beyond a few steps. The air felt heavy, and every distant sound made the place feel eerie and unsafe.

    Exercise 4 – Foreshadowing Creation
    (Sample answers)

    1. Rayan noticed the compass needle shaking violently, though the air was completely still.
    2. A locked door appeared in the hallway, even though it had never been there before.
    3. The guide smiled strangely, as if he already knew how the journey would end.

    Exercise 5 – Two-Layered Story Writing
    (Sample answer – 10 sentences)

    Part A – The Cause (5 sentences)
Rayan entered the abandoned research lab late at night, curious about the strange signals coming from inside. The building was silent, except for a low humming sound. He noticed warning symbols scratched on the walls. His compass began spinning wildly, which made him uneasy. Still, he moved deeper into the lab.

    Part B – The Consequence (5 sentences)
Inside, Rayan discovered a hidden machine controlling the signals. The machine activated suddenly, sealing the exit behind him. Instead of panicking, Rayan stayed calm and studied the controls. He shut the system down and escaped safely. The experience taught him that calm thinking is stronger than fear.
