Scenes Come Alive: Picture Description Writing for Class 3

This Class 3 picture description worksheet helps young learners strengthen their descriptive writing skills by carefully observing visual details and turning them into clear, meaningful sentences.
Through four engaging picture-based tasks—A Busy Park, A Sunny Beach Day, A Railway Station, and A Supermarket—students practise identifying people, actions, surroundings, and emotions.

Each exercise encourages children to write about ten lines per picture, helping them organise ideas, build vocabulary, and form complete sentences. The worksheet is designed to develop observation skills, sentence fluency, and confidence in descriptive writing.

    Students learn to:

    • Observe pictures carefully and notice details
    • Describe people, places, and activities clearly
    • Write complete, well-structured sentences
    • Organise ideas logically in paragraph form
    • Use descriptive words to make writing lively

This worksheet is ideal for classroom practice, homework, or writing enrichment activities.
