I’m a former banking and finance professional with 6 years of corporate experience, now a certified educator working at PlanetSpark. After completing my ECCEd and teaching coding at WhiteHat Jr for 2.5 years, I transitioned fully into teaching to build a healthier work–life balance and be more present for my son—while doing work I genuinely love.
My professional journey began in the corporate world, where I spent six years in banking and finance. The experience taught me discipline, structure, and strong communication—skills that continue to guide everything I do. But over time, I realised I wanted a career that felt more meaningful and allowed me to be truly present for my son.
That’s when I completed my ECCEd and transitioned into teaching. I spent 2.5 years at WhiteHat Jr as a coding instructor, helping children understand logic, problem-solving, and the joy of building things from scratch. Discovering how naturally I connected with young learners confirmed that education was the right path for me.
Today, I’m proudly working at PlanetSpark, where I teach communication, confidence, and essential skills to young students. Teaching has given me the perfect balance—work that fuels my purpose and the flexibility to give my son the time and attention he deserves.
Blending my corporate background with early-childhood education and tech teaching allows me to bring structure, empathy, and creativity into every class. Above all, I’m committed to helping children learn in a supportive, engaging, and confidence-building environment.
