✅ Answer Key (For Parents & Educators)

Exercise 1 – Story Writing from a Problem
(Sample answer – Problem: A class pet hamster escapes)

One afternoon, the class hamster escaped from its cage when no one was looking. The students noticed the open door and felt worried and scared. Everyone stopped their work and began searching under desks, bags, and shelves. The teacher calmly guided the class and asked them not to panic. After a few minutes, one student heard a soft sound near the bookshelf. The hamster was found hiding behind some books. The class felt relieved and happy. They gently placed the hamster back into its cage and made sure the door was locked properly.

Exercise 2 – Story Writing from a Dialogue
(Sample answer)

“Did you hear that strange sound?” Riya whispered nervously.
“Yes, it’s coming from behind the old tree,” Kabir replied softly.

They slowly walked toward the tree as the wind rustled the leaves. Riya felt her heart beat faster with every step. Suddenly, they saw a glowing box hidden under the roots. The strange humming sound came from inside the box. Kabir carefully opened it and found a small music machine. The sound stopped immediately. Both friends laughed in relief and felt proud for solving the mystery together.

Exercise 3 – Time-Travel Adventure Prompt
(Sample answer)

One morning, I found a glowing watch on my school bench. When I pressed a red button, everything around me froze. Cars stopped, birds stayed in the air, and people could not move. Suddenly, I traveled to the past and saw my school many years ago. I felt excited but also scared because I did not know how to return. I explored the place carefully and avoided changing anything. After thinking calmly, I pressed the blue button on the watch. Time began to move again, and I returned safely to the present. I hid the watch in my bag, knowing it was very special.

Exercise 4 – Turn These Events into a Story
(Sample answer)

One morning, a mysterious letter arrived at my house with no name on it. The letter gave clues about a hidden treasure in the town. Curious and excited, my friend and I decided to follow the clues. We searched the park, crossed the old bridge, and reached an abandoned garden. Suddenly, another person appeared and tried to reach the treasure before us. We worked quickly and solved the final clue together. At last, we found a small wooden box buried under a tree. Inside was an old map and a note praising our teamwork. We felt proud of our adventure.

Exercise 5 – Rewrite the Ending
(Sample answer – Magical ending)

The dragon did not fly away as everyone expected. Instead, it slowly landed near the village and smiled kindly. Its fiery scales turned golden, and soft music filled the air. The villagers realized the dragon was magical and friendly. It promised to protect the village from danger. From that day on, the dragon became their guardian, and the village lived happily and safely.
