If I could have any animal as a pet, I would have a dog! They are loyal, compassionate, lovable, and can become our best friends. I have seen many dogs who are indeed a human being's best company. Many of my friends own dogs of different breeds.
They look different, bark differently, and also have distinct behavioral traits. However, one common thing among them is that they love their owners unconditionally, and the owners love them back and treat them just like another member of that family.
The fascinating part of being with a dog is that you will never feel alone when your friends are not by your side. Moreover, the dogs will never let you feel sad or cry. They will entice you with their cuteness and make you feel special at every moment.
What if they cannot talk, they can still make us understand their thoughts. Dogs are very expressive and can interact with their eye contact. They act in a certain way when they try to convey their feelings to us. They have all the emotions that a human being has.
Dogs become angry when you annoy them, become jealous when you cuddle another dog, become sad when you don't take them for a walk, and feel immense joy when they see you after a long day. These emotions make dogs emphatic and make us also more empathetic not only towards them but also towards other human beings.
They are the reason why you would love your stay at home. They will brighten up the space with their positive energy and uplift our mood whenever we are exhausted. Dogs can understand us so well that they can easily follow our commands. They lead a disciplined life when taught the right way to live. They know when it's time for meals and when they should be taken for a walk.
For all of the above reasons and more, I would love to have a sibling in the form of a dog. I would groom my dog regularly, play with him, and take him for a walk. They are not only adorable but will also make you feel secure. They can keep a watch on the house and would not allow any strangers in the house.
